Low Cement Castable 50 About

Low cement castables (LCC) are advanced refractory materials designed to deliver superior performance compared to conventional castables. They contain a reduced amount of calcium aluminate cement, typically below 5%, which significantly improves high-temperature properties. The low cement content minimizes the formation of low-melting phases, resulting in enhanced refractoriness, higher hot strength, and better resistance to slag and chemical attack.

LCCs are formulated with high-purity aggregates, fine powders, and dispersing additives to achieve excellent particle packing and low porosity.
